Registration is open until the tournament start time.

$45 entry fee is broken down by the following:

$30 Payouts

$1 - AOY prize package at end of year

$5 - Tourney X fee

$9 - Trail expenses (trophies, permits, website, etc)
Identifier
Identifiers can be printed off HERE. The code for the identifier will be released by 9PM the night before the tournament on Facebook & Tourney X.
An identifier with no code, the wrong code, or codes in the wrong boxes will not be accepted. If participating in multiple tournaments you can combine codes on a single identifier, but they must be correct and they must be in the appropriate box.
Another option for an Identifier (that is not mandatory) is a reusable option made out of durable aluminum by Blue Fox Gifts. MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE BUCKEYE KAYAK FISHING TRAIL IDENTIFIER.

Prior to payment BKFT will require information for a 1099 be filled out.
Payouts take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to process.​
We try to make payouts as soon as possible but objections being filed, rule violations, and in-depth photo reviews can result in delays.

Event Rules
When signing up for this event anglers declare that they understand and will follow the rules listed HERE. Anglers who violate the rules could face penalties all the way up to disqualification.

While it is the anglers responsibility to know ALL of the rules some common violations include:
*Not using an approved Ketch measuring board.
*No identifier or incorrect identifier codes (see identifier section on this page).
*Launching is only permitted from public access.
*Thoroughly read and memorize the rules section that describes how to measure a fish and understand each penalty that can be enforced.

This tournament is black bass only (Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted).

This tournament is a 5 fish tournament.

Per KBF Rules: Competitors may launch from any public-access shore directly onto Eligible Water.

Anglers must follow this schedule:
Pre-fishing ends at dusk the day before the tournament.
6:00AM - Competitors may launch from public access points.
6:30AM - First cast.
3:00:00PM - Fishing ends photos taken at 3:00:00PM or later will be denied.
3:30PM - Deadline to submit photos to Tourney X. It is the anglers responsibility to make sure all photos are uploaded by the deadline. No photos accepted after 3:30PM so plan accordingly.
4:00PM - Awards ceremony located at:

To be eligible for payouts, trophies, and prizes, anglers must be present at the 4:00PM awards ceremony.

Over 185 miles of eligible waters to choose from!
​​Listed below are only eligible waters and are not meant to necessarily be a put-in or take-out location. Be sure to refer to the maps and ask someone if you are unsure of a possible launch/take-out location. Posting a question to the Buckeye Nation Kayak Anglers Facebook group will receive a pretty quick response.

Any creeks that connect to the water listed below is eligible IF:
1. You access them from the eligible water listed below.
AND
2. You can paddle, pedal or motor to the attached body of water from an eligible stretch of water (no dragging across land or across dry sections of creek).
