Registration
Event Rules
To register and pay click on the Tourney X logo:
Registration is open until the tournament start time.
$45 entry fee is broken down by the following:

$30 Payouts
-
$1 - AOY prize package at end of year
-
$5 - Tourney X fee
-
$9 - Trail expenses (trophies, permits, website, etc)
This event will also be running a 2 angler team event at the same time. You have to register for both tournaments in Tourney X. The $15 team registration fee is broken down by:

$5 to Tourney X
-
$10 paid out to the top 3 teams in a 50%, 30%, 20% split.
Identifier
Identifiers can be printed off HERE. The code for the identifier will be released by 9PM the night before the tournament on Facebook & Tourney X.
An identifier with no code, the wrong code, or codes in the wrong boxes will not be accepted. If participating in multiple tournaments you can combine codes on a single identifier, but they must be correct and they must be in the appropriate box.
Another option for an Identifier (that is not mandatory) is a reusable option made out of durable aluminum by Blue Fox Gifts. MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE BUCKEYE KAYAK FISHING TRAIL IDENTIFIER.
Payouts, Trophies & Prizes
When signing up for this event anglers declare that they understand and will follow the rules listed HERE. Anglers who violate the rules could face penalties all the way up to disqualification.
While it is the anglers responsibility to know ALL of the rules some common violations include:
*Not using an approved Ketch measuring board.
*No identifier or incorrect identifier codes (see identifier section on this page).
*Launching is only permitted from public access.
*Thoroughly read and memorize the rules section that describes how to measure a fish and understand each penalty that can be enforced.
Additional Event Specific Rules
Anglers must follow this schedule:
5:30AM - Competitors may launch from public access points.
6:00AM - First cast.
3:00:00PM - Fishing ends photos taken at 3:00:00PM or later will be denied.
3:30PM - Deadline to submit photos to Tourney X. It is the anglers responsibility to make sure all photos are uploaded by the deadline. No photos accepted after 3:30PM so plan accordingly.
4:00PM - Awards ceremony located at:
Old Field Beach (see picture below).
To be eligible for payouts, trophies, and prizes, anglers must be present at the 4PM awards ceremony.

Approximately the top 10% of the field will receive a payout.

1st Place will receive an invite to The Classic upon qualification! Qualification requirements can be read HERE.
Payouts take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks to process.
We try to make payouts as soon as possible but objections being filed, rule violations, and in-depth photo reviews can result in delays.
For individuals to whom BKFT pays out $600 or more during a calendar year, we will prepare an IRS Form 1099 and require information from the angler before the payment is made.

The following points are awarded to the top spots for this event:
1st Place - 25 points
2nd Place - 24 points
3rd Place - 23 points
4th Place - 22 points

After every Tour Series event the standings will be updated generally within a few days.
All the rules listed on this page apply to the team event.

The team event is 5 bass.
-
Anglers can contribute anywhere from 0 to 5 fish to their team total.

Anglers competing in both the team event and the single angler event MUST submit fish to BOTH tournaments in Tourney X. If fish are not submitted to both tournaments by the 3:30 deadline they will not count.

Anglers in the team event won't receive trail points or invitations to the Classic.
Eligible Water

Click on the map above for eligible water.

Only water within the boundaries of the maps above are eligible.

Creeks and/or rivers are only eligible if they appear on the map above AND can you can paddle, pedal, or motor to them from the main lake. If you have to drag your kayak it is ineligible.

The same can be said if you launch to an area. It must have clear paddle, pedal, or motor access to the main lake. If you have to drag to get back to the main lake it is ineligible.

MAP NOTE: the NE corner of the map is cut off. That area is eligible to fish as long as you can paddle, pedal, or motor to it from the main lake (ie: no dragging). Also, the North fork of the Great Miami is in the NE corner. The North Fork is eligible until you hit 273/117 (near Williams RV Park & Boat Access). The other side of 273/117 is off limits.

Water below dams or spillways are not eligible.
