Prizes
Over $300 worth of prizes donated by Stritly Sail will be raffled! Prizes will be raffled off to all anglers who didn't win 1st place, 2nd place, or win big fish. It is the goal of the Trail to give all participants who attend a shot at prizes and not just those who take the top spots, so be sure to attend the measure-in even if you had a tough day locating fish!

Their are multiple locations for camping near Cincinnati, but here are a couple favorites:

The measure-in is also a good oppurtunity to meet & greet fellow kayak anglers of all skill levels and talk about our mutual love of kayak fishing.

Event History
This event was new in 2013 and mother nature decided to help determine how the event would play out. Massive flooding hit the Dayton area and all the water blew out all the rivers going south into Cincinnati thus making the event the Lake Challenge dropping the 'vs. River' from the name and eligible fishing waters. The lakes that were available to fish were Winton Woods and East Fork with mother nature deciding to dish out another challenge to participating anglers. A massive algae outbreak the previous day turned East Fork to pea soup and made for a very tough day for most anglers fishing the lake. The top 5 all came from Winton Woods with Bob Lauber being the lone angler placing that fished at East Fork. In the end, eventual 2013 & 2014 Angler of the Year tied in first place with Larry Haines.
