This event is truly a Kayak Angler Classic: You will be competing against the top kayak anglers in the state.
First Place is guaranteed $600 in a WINNER TAKE ALL THE CASH event where 2nd place is the first loser! But wait, there is more...we will be raffling off:

Those prizes ensure everyone will receive at least one prize and several anglers will receive more than one prize. This PRIZE LIST IS GUARANTEED, so even if all 24 of the invited anglers do not show up all the prizes will still be handed out!
One more thing....the winner of THE CLASSIC is also eligible for raffle prizes, so you better get out and start pre-fishing and developing a gameplan!

ONLY INVITED ANGLERS LISTED AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE SHOULD REGISTER AND PAY. IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE INVITE LIST WE APPRECIATE THE DONATION.
Tournament Day & Identifier
7:00AM - Captain's Meeting at Paint Creek Lake beach located on the south end of the lake. (see picture to the right)
7:30AM - Once the captain's meeting finishes anglers can get on the water, but no lines in the water until 7:30AM. Any fish caught prior to 7:30AM will be DQ'd. When you catch a fish DO NOT WAIT TO UPLOAD THE FISH until later in the day.
12:00PM - Tourney X standings will disappear, but you can still submit fish. If you want to verify your fish have been submitted check the email address you signed up to Tourney X with.
3:30PM - Fishing ends: all lines out of the water. Any fish caught after 3:30PM will be DQ'd.
Bayview is just south of Paint Creek Lake on nearby Rocky Fork Lake. If you do not attend you will not be eligible for any prizes.

The entire lake is eligible if it appears on the map on the link above. Any water not on the map is not eligible. Also any water on the map must be accessible by paddling/pedaling from the main lake.
*Below the DAM (spillway) is NOT ELIGIBLE.
*Creeks are eligible if you can paddle up them from the main lake and they are visible on the map link above.
Remember, you can only use public access to put in and take out. Do not launch/take-out from Private Property.

There are no additional event specific rules for this trail stop.
*The anglers listed at the top of this page qualified for the Classic in one of two ways:
1. Participate in 5 in person events
2. Participate in 4 in person events and 1 online event.
NOTE: Anglers who participate in more events will still qualify.
*The anglers received an actual invite by:
1. Win one of the 9 in person trail stops.
2. Finish in the top 20 on the trail points leaderboard.
3. YAK Ohio: At the end of the year every fish an angler has in the top 3 YAK Ohio's will receive a raffle ticket. 2 entries into the Classic will be raffled off to those anglers. So if an angler has one catfish in top 3, a musky in the top 3, a crappie in top 3, and a trout in the top 3 they will receive 4 raffle tickets. Those raffle tickets will then be drawn for prizes which would include 2 entries to the Classic.
